Owen Aue
Owen Aue brought his love and great talent for music and theater to the YIHS when he joined the school as a freshmen. Owen kept up his connection to the Young Shakespeare Players in Madison where he held many lead roles over the years, and he participated with great success in the YIHS theatre plays as well, at times learning lines for two different productions at the same time (hopefully) without mixing them up! Owen was an asset to the music and singing program, he studied German for four years and participated in the foreign student exchange program with Germany, spending two months at the Freie Waldorfschule Chiemgau during his junior year. Owen was active in music or theatre related fundraisers, the Wisconsin Forensics program, and a key founder of the by now famous rock band “Mackarel Sky”. For next year Owen has been admitted to Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
