SAM hails from the high desert valley of Salida, Colorado where he grew up ranching, running and rafting. On the mossy mountain of Sewanee, Tennessee he studied Neuroscience and a bit of Buddhism. He’s walked across Spain, biked down Wyoming and driven through nearly every state. He teaches Statistics and EFL, and looks forward teaching Psychology and Geology with Tyler this spring. Sam also helps lead expeditions and coaches on the mountain bike team.
