ZOE
was born and raised in the premiere wine and fine dining destination of Napa, California, but moved away before she was old enough to enjoy most of those experiences. After earning degrees in English and Theatre Arts at the University of Puget Sound, she drove a two-door Volkswagen across the country to begin her YIHS career as an intern in 2014. Each year at YIHS has brought new experiences and opportunities for her, both curricularly and administratively, including her role as an Academic Advisor since 2018. She currently serves as the Humanities Department Chair, teaching Early Civilizations, Modern World History, and Comedy & Tragedy in that realm. She is also the Theatre Arts Program Director, the Post-Secondary Options Counselor, the Personnel Committee Chair, and an occasional teacher of vocal music, archery, and creative writing. Outside of school she can be found mostly at home with her two cats reading, creating, and dreaming. |
